Our second Great Canadian Road Trip is another one-day adventure not far from home. We are going to explore some of Hamilton's most beautiful waterfalls, and they are all just a short drive from Cambridge.
The route begins and ends at our location on Hespeler Road, making it simple to follow for everyone. To make things even easier, weโve included Google Maps links for each destination so you can customize or reroute your trip however you like.

STOP 1: Tiffany Falls

- 21-metre forested cascade.
- Short and easy trail. 1km round trip from parking lot.
- Short hike to Stop 2 - Sherman Falls along the Bruce trail from this location. ~3km round trip.
Tip: Plan ahead and arrive early morning as parking is limited. Overflow parking at Dundas Valley.
STOP 2: Sherman Falls

๐ฒ Paid parking at either Tiffany Falls or Artaban Road.
- 17 metre-high curtain waterfall that surges from Ancaster Creek.
- Along the Bruce Trail and a short 1.4km hike from Stop 1 - Tiffany Falls
- The trail leading to this waterfalls is a combination of paved road, crushed gravel and dirt path.
Tip: Sherman Falls is on private propertyย and we ask all visitors to appreciate the Falls respectfully.
STOP 3: Webster's Falls

- One of Hamiltonโs largest and most famous waterfalls, surrounded by parkland.
- 22-metre classical curtain waterfall.
- Easy 15 minute walk to Stop 4 - Tew's Falls.
Tip: Reservation or day pass may be required on weekends.
STOP 4: Tew's Falls

- Part of the Spencer Gorge Conservation Area
- 15 minute walk from Stop 3 - Webster's Falls.
- Fed by Logieโs Creek, the water tumbles down 41 metres of rock face into the valley below.
Tip: The hike to Dundas Peak lookout is about 25 minutes from Tew's Falls.
STOP 5: Smokey Hollow Falls

- Also known as Grindstone Falls, Waterdown falls or Great Falls.
- Beautiful ribbon waterfall in a leafy forest setting that flows from Grindstone Creek
- Surrounded by forest boardwalks and Bruce Trail connections.
Tip: Consider parking in Waterdown on the side streets near town or at one of the paid parking lots.
